Asbestos Quality Manager

Our client, a leading Asbestos specialist, is seeking a driven Asbestos Quality Manager to join their team in Bradford due to growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the Quality System and procedures relevant to asbestos work, ensuring proper documentation is maintained to support its operations.
- Collaborate with the Divisional Quality Manager to develop an annual audit schedule that meets UKAS requirements and ensures periodic audits of all disciplines throughout the year.
- Maintain records of all audits conducted, corrective/preventative actions taken, and measures implemented.
- Plan and conduct regular personnel audits at intervals determined by the audit schedule.
- Ensure that all asbestos personnel are trained in accordance with documented procedures, and maintain proper documentation to support training and retraining efforts.
- Collaborate with the Divisional QC Manager to distribute Quality Control samples and collect completed results, maintaining proper documentation of all results submitted, monthly progress reports, and equipment records.
- Conduct regular calibration and routine maintenance of test equipment, and organise and administer monthly background air tests, replicate analysis, and duplicate surveys.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Proven experience and knowledge of all aspects of Asbestos Quality Systems and UKAS requirements.
- Solid background in Technical and Quality Management.
- Demonstrated training skills and ability to effectively communicate with others.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
