Job Description:
A prestigious award-winning house builder based in East Scotland are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team. They have several exciting new projects and a strong pipeline of land which is why they are expanding their team in 2024.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Site Manager in all aspects of site operations and management
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades on site
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor progress and quality of work on site
- Assist in the timely completion of projects within budget
Required Qualifications:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
- First Aid certification
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Scaffold Awareness training (desired)
Education:
NVQ Level 4 or qualification in Construction Management related field
Experience:
- Prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of timber frame construction
- Experience with new build housing projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
