Building Surveyor

Type: Full-time permanent position Salary: £37,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) Location: Greater Manchester

The Role

We are currently seeking a Building Surveyor with 1-2 years post chartership to provide Damp & Void surveys and general building surveying services in the Greater Manchester area. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing feasibility studies and recommendations, scoping and estimating projects, and delivering reports to clients. You will also be involved in design and specification services, ensuring compliance with all legislation and best practises.

Your Responsibilities

• Conducting surveys and preparing reports
• Working with clients and other consultants throughout all project stages
• Assisting with post-contract administration and final account agreement
• Collaborating with senior surveyors, associate directors, and directors on new project bids

Your Experience and Skills

• Prior experience in building surveying
• Chartered Building Surveyor status
• Strong technical knowledge and competency in building surveying
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and report writing skills
• Proficient in IT systems
