The Role:

A very well established modular building contractor with a great reputation for quality are looking to recruit an experienced modular hire Business Development Manager to To be responsible for the development of the modular hire business within a defined geographic area/sector to achieve a sustainable and profitable ongoing business.  You will be aaccountable for the delivery of set targets for the year for a catchment area/sector including contract value, order numbers, and visits as well as other commercial KPI's.

 

About You:

  • The successful candidate would preferably have a minimum 5 years' experience in an equal / similar role, demonstrating strong sales success. Ideally from within a Modular hire business, but not essential

  • An excellent communicator - excellent written and verbal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to multi-task and prioritise busy workload.

  • An enthusiastic team player, who engages colleagues and willingly shares information.

  • Motivated self starter with ability to work from home

  • Is a first class relationship builder who is at ease with the matrix organisation and able to work cross functionally

  • The candidate must be fully numerate and able to demonstrate ability to understand cost / pricing.

  • Promotes a customer first mind set and understands the commercial need to balance that approach
