As Civil Engineering Technician/Project Coordinator you will:

• Coordinate all site-specific Engineering production information from both within the company and from external consultants. (EG-External design consultants: - Structural & civil engineers, ground investigations, gas, water, electric, telecoms service providers, specialist suppliers: - Pumping stations, retaining structures, foundation engineering, regulatory approval organisations: - Local Authority, NHBC, EPA, Land & Planning, 
• Design input and coordination of highway, drainage and structural works
• Critique of external consultant information for accuracy and commercial viability
• Input into the adoption process for roads, sewers and POS
• Provide Engineering support to the site teams
• Input into the handover procedure of Engineering information to the operations team
• Liaison with other disciplines to ensure fully coordinated design strategy and solutions

Thorn Baker's client is looking for someone who:

• Is, ideally, an experienced Engineering Technician/Project Coordinator with a strong background in the coordination of the engineering consultants and Regulatory authorities.
• Has experience with the infrastructure of new build residential developments (housing and apartments/S278 works, drainage, etc)
• Is capable of Coordinating external engineering team, value engineering and has a good hold on regulatory compliance
• Has experience in software competence specifically in AutoCAD and MS office applications
