Are you a talented and ambitious Senior Cost Manager or Commercial Manager? are you looking to work on exciting projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last? We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Manager to support our clients exciting growth plans, working with their key clients. The role will cover all aspects of cost management throughout the whole project lifecycle from initial inception / business case through to completion / commissioning. The role also provides the opportunity to support the growth of the business and management / development of team members within the London area.

Duties include:

  • Deliver all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion
  • Achieve the highest standards of professional competence
  • Drive performance standards and technical excellence through communication and effective use of the performance management process
  • Maintain and develop good relationships with clients
  • Actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects
  • Develop marketing opportunities

 

Skills / experience required:

  • Experience and strong track record in the Cost Management / Quantity Surveying field, ideally working on large scale projects
  • Good working knowledge of NEC4 suite of contracts
  • Experience of working within a client organization, either directly or through a secondment arrangement would be of benefit
  • Ability to identify and influence key client stakeholders, building effective relationships to grow workload / portfolio

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent); Accredited to MRICS (or equivalent) or working towards
