Construction Trainer Assessor

Coverage - South West | Hybrid/remote Working | £40,000 - £45,000 + package

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Trainer Assessor to join our award-winning construction client. The successful candidate will deliver training and accreditation on behalf the companies training academy and will work closely with senior management to deliver outstanding training and assessment which supports internal and internal construction professionals. 

 

This client is a CITB approved training organisation, and has secured a large funding grant in 2023/24. Experience of delivering training and a relevant assessment qualification essential.

What you will deliver:

  • Developing and delivering comprehensive training modules in various construction disciplines inc SSSTS, NVQ, Site Safety Plus, 1 day short courses
  • Conducting interactive training sessions that combine theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on experience
  • Creating and updating training materials, resources, and assessments to ensure relevance and effectiveness
  • Collaborating with the curriculum development team to enhance training programs based on industry trends and advancements
  • Evaluating student progress and performance, offering constructive feedback, and identifying areas for improvement
  • Promoting a culture of professionalism, safety, and excellence in all training activities

Qualifications:

  • Experience of delivering training and a relevant assessment qualification 
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry, with a solid foundation in multiple construction disciplines - ideally Formwork, Groundworks ext
  • Proven track record of successfully training and mentoring individuals in a professional or educational setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, tools, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for empowering others to succeed.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction training or education (preferred but not mandatory).
