Thorn Baker's expert commercial & residential build client is looking for a Façade Design Manager to join their modern façades installation branch. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a team of certified & experienced installers, designers, and managers for an established, busy, and fast-growing business boasting technical expertise, a forward-thinking approach, and relationships with the most reputable contractors in the sector.

As Design Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the design is effectively managed through review and interrogation from pre-construction through to live projects, co-ordinating all interface details, and submitting technical submissions for products and materials.

Your Responsibilities:

• Running the full design package on numerous projects and running external design teams.
• Running design meetings with Architects and our clients design teams.
• Producing design programmes and managing external designers to complete designs on time and within budget.
• Ensure weekly design reports are completed and discussed with the directors.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years' experiencefaçade design experience as a design manager.
• AutoCAD and 3D design experience.
• Thorough understanding of building regulations and construction design process.

• Strong ability to form and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
