Are you a skilled Health and Safety professional with IOSH or NEBOSH certification? We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to join our client's team and ensure a safe working environment.

Role Overview: As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting and maintaining health and safety standards within the workplace. You will be responsible for implementing policies, conducting inspections, and providing training to enhance safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide health and safety training to employees and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Health and Safety role, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Certified in IOSH or NEBOSH with a solid understanding of health and safety principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and educate employees.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach towards identifying and mitigating risks.
