HR Advisor

Job description

A leading construction organisation in West London is hiring an HR Advisor to deliver a generalist HR advisory service to the entire organisation. The position is centred around managing HQ employees contracts, induction and Handling HQ employment relations issues, working alongside the Senior management team & overseeing the recruitment processes.

Job responsibilities:

  • Deliver a generalist HR advisory service, including providing up to date and informed HR guidance and support on HR policies, processes and systems
  • Support with organisation development programmes; preparing documents, supporting planning, due diligence completion etc
  • Work with the Head of HR and HR Business Partners to deliver HR calendar and review cycle activities
  • Support the monthly payroll including payroll change processes
  • Effectively use the recruitment system to support a proactive responsive recruitment service to managers

Candidate Profile:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
  • Demonstratable experience of providing first line generalist HR advice and guidance
  • Working knowledge of HR processes and up to date employment law
  • Demonstratable experience of dealing with senior stakeholders

Supporting the Head of HR, You'll ensure all H&R support is accurate and maintained in line with GDPR, provide Learning and Development support, including facilitating training sessions, whilst reviewing our HR Data insights regularly, reflecting on performance and identifying any trends.

About You

Candidates will have excellent knowledge and experience of employee relation processes with previous experience in a generalist HR advisory role and, although not essential, will ideally hold CIPD membership / qualification (Level 5). Empathetic, with excellent customer service skills, you'll maintain professionalism and confidentiality, taking ownership of your own diary, juggling multiple tasks, whilst maintaining a strong focus and attention to detail.

Excellent Excel skills and the ability to analyse, manipulate and validate large amounts of data is essential, along with proven experience of producing written reports, business cases and complex letters.
