Title:  Strategic Land Manager

Location:  Peterborough

Sector:  House Building

Salary:  Up to £60'000 (depending on expeience) 

 

We are currently recruiting for a Strategic Land Manager to join a well-established residential developer based within the Cambridgeshire area. As the Strategic Land Manager you will work alongside the Development team that are responsible for identifying and sourcing the best locations for new developments.  You will be bidding for sought after land, you will also need to be imaginative in identifying other possibilities. If you are entrepreneurial and imaginative in your thinking, then this is the role for you!

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for sharing knowledge of contractual and legal aspects
  • Identify new developers via a range of different methods
  • Liaise with agents and local authorities using your extensive contact base
  • Monitor the strategic land portfolio, ensuring you are appointing and managing external consultants
  • Liaise with different department within the business undertaking community engagement as necessary

About You:

  • Experience of working in a similar capacity as a Land Manager
  • Ideally you will have experience working for a residential developer
  • Experience in promoting land throughout the planning proces
  • Good understanding of whole planning system
  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject such as Planning or Surveying, or equivalent industry experience
  • Composed individual who thrives when working in a fast-paced environment
  • Key negotiator, who is confident in their skills
