Job title: Marketing & Bid Manager

Location: Northwest –Liverpool, St Helens, Bootle, Southport, Wigan, Warrington, Runcorn, Chester, Ellesmere Port

Job type: Permanent

Salary: Negotiable to £44,000 per annum

The Role:

As Marketing and bid manager, you will have an instrumental role in supporting the pre-construction team in the winning of new business opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to:

  • Manage CRM and Lead Generation System, identify and report on new tender opportunities
  • Source and lead various business opportunities including business development funding and training opportunities
  • Submit expressions of interest, pre qualifications questionnaires and tenders
  • Manage registrations and administration of tender portals
  • Creatively and professionally write and edit bids to a high quality and bespoke to target audience, in line with clients published guidelines
  • Manage Social Media channels and digital strategy
  • Implement and execute a marketing plan and strategy
  • Complete company re-brand of all documents
  • Take on full copy-writing, including, case studies, press releases, full media management, website news and blogs
  • Design and create monthly subscriber magazine and newsletter mailer
  • Liaise with various industry professionals to create opportunities for the business
  • Liaise with delivery team to source industry news and data for marketing activity

About you:

Minimum 2 years’ Bid writing experience within the construction industry

Able understand construction based technical information

Previous marketing experience preferred

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Confident and outgoing individual, able to develop strong working relationships

IT literate

Team Player with strong work ethic
