Summary

Thorn Baker is pleased to be working with one of the region's busiest civil engineering main contractors to recruit a Site Engineer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be involved in an exciting period of growth for an already thriving civil engineering/infrastructure company. Initially, the successful candidate will be involved in a major civil engineering/infrastructure project programmed to last a number of years; providing a stable career in the local area.

Thorn Baker's client is looking for "the right" candidate to join the company. Someone who has aspirations to progress and develop in their career whilst helping the company reach the financial and reputational goals set out for the next decade

Along with stability provided by the contractor, the successful candidate will benefit from a highly competitive salary and an enviable package consisting of pension, car/allowance and an annual bonus scheme

As Site Engineer you will:

• Be involved with various engineering duties including as builts, relevant paperwork and general setting out duties
• Check technical designs and drawings to ensure they are followed correctly
• Provide technical advice to other members of staff where required
• Liaise with various stakeholders including client, local authority and internal staff members

Thorn Baker's client is looking for someone who:

• Has a demonstrable background working on civil engineering/infrastructure projects of any size
• Has a relevant degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification
• Has an occupation specific CSCS card
