Summary

Thorn Baker is pleased to be working with a regional Civil Engineering main contractor in Devon who is currently looking to recruit a Site Engineer to join the business.

Our client would be interested in talking to a fairly "new to the industry" Engineer (2 years+ experience) who is looking to progress their career in the industry however, a fully seasoned Engineer is equally welcome to apply.

The initial scheme is a multi-million-pound public realm job in Torquay, with further projects lined up in the Devon region including a highway scheme near Exeter and additional projects dotted around Devon, Cornwall and Somerset

As a Site Engineer you will:

• Have experience of setting out on similar civil engineering projects.
• Provide levelling and surveying across site, checking drawings and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Provide technical support and offer expertise in problem solving when required.
• Produce ITP's and Task Briefings.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

• Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations.
• A good understating of construction health & safety legislation.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Capable in the use of AutoCAD

Benefits:

• £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
