Summary:

As a result of rapid growth and a spike in demand Thorn Baker's client is looking to expand their established civil engineering business with the hires of several new positions across the South West and South Coast Regions.

For this role, our client requires a Site Engineer, based in Taunton. Initial project is programmed for completion mid-2025 and the region is consistently furnished with work on a framework basis which means stability and consistency are key points for consideration.

All work generally consists of RC structures, drainage, infrastructure and general civil engineering.

As Site Engineer you will:

• Set out on site.
• Provide technical support to the site team.
• Supervise various team members onsite.
• Assist with daily problem solving.
• Assist with health and safety paperwork including RAMS.

Thorn Baker's client is looking for someone with:

• Active CSCS is essential (1^st Aid and SSSTS/SMSTS would be a bonus but not essential)

• Demonstrable experience working on projects consisting of civil engineering, infrastructure and structures.
• The ability to utilise AutoCAD for engineering duties (not design)

• £45000 - £50000 per annum
